A Whole New Way to Dorm

With a LOT More Space

You’ll have a kitchen, bathroom and living room in your suite — plus groceries, coffee shops and fitness centers are right in your building. The average university dorm pales in comparison.

Shared bedrooms are easily large enough for two and, as long as they aren’t sold out, a private bedroom option is available. (Whether or not you share a room won’t be a late-summer surprise.) Enjoy this new way to dorm for about the same price as more traditional options.

The image shows a Lucky floorplan and a typical dorm floorplan with a call out that it's 4x the size.

A Day in The Life When You Dorm@Lucky

Here When You Need Us

Dorm@Lucky maintains a student-to-staff ratio of 35:1. (Most university residence halls are 50:1.) Think of our Residence Life team as your professional big brother/sister — one who will celebrate your successes and support you during the tough days. They will help you make connections, provide plenty of fun, and support your transition to college life.

University Connections

You will be connected to all the University offers, including writing clinics, tutoring programs, advising and career planning networks, UW’s email, alert systems, computer labs, libraries, and other communication systems. Plus, our Residence Life Staff will help you sort things out and stay focused. (They’ve been in your shoes and know what it takes to succeed in school!)

Make Lifelong Bonds

Make friends and build a community away from home. Everything you need comes together right here: the campus, our dorm communities, and our social support programs. And if you’re worried about getting along with a new roommate, don’t. Our roommate matching process has consistently earned top grades from hundreds of past first-year students. You also have the option to pick your roommate!

"The dorm program was definitely worth it. You get the same roommate experience, but with more space to spread out, your own bathroom, and all of the other amenities at Lucky...I definitely recommend it.”

— Siera B., Dorm@Lucky Resident
